From the initial sketch based… read more on a few whatsapp conversation, we can already tell that Levonne understood what we were looking for (even though sometimes we get lost in the details as well). Levonne was able to give productive inputs and not just agree for the sake of it an we were very pleased by the design work. Also, another positive point is that Levonne showed us the 3D sketching even before we made any payments/commitments, which is not exactly the norm but this helped us to visualize the concept.2) Workmanship: Was also really well done in terms of the quality of the workmanship. We have quite a few built-ins and the center masterpiece was the bar counter that was perfect in terms of the limited size afforded and customized to our heights (I and my missus are relatively taller). Levonne was also able to incorporate interesting ideas like our wardrobe hinge that could open more than 90 degrees to account for the fact that it is right at the corner of the L-shape.3) Pricing: It is definitely not the cheapest option available, even though to be fair the Covid situation has not made things any better. However, we consider the pricing to be reasonable and Levonne also manages to give good ideas for us to save some money here and there. An example would be the bi-folding glass panel which we originally wanted, but was dissuaded against as she shared that it would be a hassle to open/close the door and it would just end up as a white elephant.4) Timeline: Again, take this with a pinch of salt given the tight labour crunch due to Covid, but in general we managed to move in within 4 months of key collection and this is something that is quite remarkable given the amount of work our house needed.5) Committment and responsiveness: Last point here is about the positive attitude by Levonne who has always been professional and able to give good advice and is always responsive despite handling many other projects.Overall, I would strongly recommend Levonne to anyone who wants a modern and trendy look for their house.

  Our renovation journey typically began just like any others who just went through the roller coaster of emotions during the buying and selling of HDB flats. After acquiring a HDB… read more 5 room flat which is 40 years old, we knew that were required a full makeover. We look through many renovations ideas and concept on different platforms and social medias. And after we had an idea of what kind of things we want to do with the house, we start searching for an Interior design firm. We went to a few design firm and Ethereall was one of them. The process of sharing what you envisioned to do with your house to an interior designer was draining as it took many hours and you just have to keep on repeating yourself. To be honest Ethereall wasn’t the first firm we went to, as we saw other design firms which have done similar concept to what we wanted. We shortlisted Ethereall simply because on the week that we were searching through Qanvast for the ID to go to, they were featured on Qanvast as the ‘Top design firm of the week’. They had excellent reviews so we decided to check them out. After going through the first sitting with all the design firms, sharing what we wanted to do, we waited for about 2 weeks for each of them to get back to us. And after getting the quotations and the proposed designs of the other firms we were disappointed. Its either the quote given was sky high or the proposed design totally deviates from what we envisioned or the ID was very imposing and insisted on their ideas and alternatives instead. Ethereall was the last to get back to us, as to be fair, we went to them only after visiting 5 others before them. And if you know that when you meet the first 2 design firms, you will be full of energy and when it gets to the 4th onwards you will be less enthusiastic as it was a repetitive process. I remembered when we first met Hace, she didn’t really talked as much as the other IDs we met. However she gave us her card and we realised that she is the design director, the Boss of Ethereall, surely if you want the best person for the job, you will want the top designer of the firm and who’s better than the boss herself right? 🙂 And for someone who owns the firm, she was very humble and down to earth. To compare, the first design firm we went to, it was also the boss who sits with us through our first sitting and just to cut it short, it wasn’t the same experience we had with Hace. And when we met Hace for the second sitting, after a series of disappointment with the other IDs with what they came out with, we wasn’t having our hopes high. And to our delight and surprise, Hace was the only one who actually listened to us. The house that we wanted was only envisioned in our heads and no one except for Hace put it in 3D drawings for us to see. The fact that I said earlier that she didn’t talk as much as the other IDs was simply because she was listening! She paid attention, down to the little details and she justified the reason why you need an Interior designer. Because we only have the images of our dream house in our heads and Hace turns that into reality both in a practical way and aesthetically. We signed the agreement straight away and began the renovation journey. Throughout the entire process Hace remained humble but never once compromised on our satisfaction as her client. Any requests from us were never rejected, queries were always clarified and explained, the cost of renovations and add ons were very transparent and fair. The quality of materials and workmanship were of high standards. Even with the current COVID situation and the anticipated delay in some works, it was a bearable wait and justified, because it’s just inevitable during these times. And finally when everything is done and completed, we were 100% satisfied, grateful and happy. And to sum it up, i wouldn’t have taken time to write this review if my family and I wasn’t totally impressed and happy with the final outcome. We totally recommend Hace and Ethereall to our friends and families and to any of you reading this review, if you are looking for a design firm and a team of designers who are filled with dedication and enthusiasm to build your homes and walk with you at every step of your journey. And to other design firms who might be reading this, humility, accommodating attitude and excellent client experience goes a long way than just offering impressive design ideas or state of art and high end materials cause we picked Hace and Ethereall based on the characteristics I’ve mentioned in the beginning and not on the latter. One of the… read more main reasons was I felt comfortable and I could trust Levonne because I tend to be indecisive and never once will she try to push for a more expensive option/solution. Levonne was also very responsive and always replied me patiently or go to the extra mile if I cannot meet up with her in person. Their contractors are also very professional and helpful. My mother and I are very happy with our home and have gotten many compliments from folks who visited.
